THE RHYTHM OF THE ONLINE RETREAT
The day will start at 10 am and end at 5pm . There will be a 90-minute lunch-break from 1.30pm (approx)
Jason will give an inspiring spiritual talk, followed by Chi Kung or Chi Yoga. This raises our energetic vibration so we are ready for powerful Infinite Meditation.
After lunch, we perform Infinite Tai Chi as a group and there may be another talk, or perhaps partner work in break-out rooms. Jason will follow the inspiration.
PRACTICALITIES
Choose a room or dedicated space for your retreat, preferably light-filled and uncluttered which will raise the room’s vibration. Flowers or plants will raise it further. Before the day commences, open the window to freshen the air for a short while. The room should feel fresh but warm.
Ensure there is enough space to place your yoga mat, for exercise and also for meditation. Your clothing layered and comfortable; a wrap for meditation. For Jason’s talks you may prefer to sit on a chair, so some re-arranging of your retreat space may be necessary during the day, to suit your requirements.
You will need a notebook and pen to write down your reflections, insights, and Jason’s teachings.
Do engage the co-operation of those you share a house with. Help them to understand the process and that you wish to be undisturbed!
Video on or off? It’s up to you really. It is nice to see everyone at the start of the day. After that, as you wish. Being constantly ‘visible’ can be tiring… I prefer to turn my video off for meditation and exercise. Others may keep video constantly ‘on’ and some prefer it constantly ‘off’. In any case you can experiment a bit. Notwithstanding all that, please keep your audio muted- unless Jason is inviting questions and comments. On the rare occasions when the internet signal is weak, it might be necessary to turn off video of all participants to preserve the audio and video quality of Jason.
ENERGY MANAGEMENT
A retreat led by Jason Chan will transmit powerful, bright energy. Less experienced practitioners may need to take a break, perhaps miss a session. If this is the case, please let the organiser know.
ZOOM Install it on your laptop or tablet and familiarise yourself with its navigation. Do check that your retreat space has a good wi-fi signal. You can check this with an app called SpeedTest. A strong internet connection will optimise the quality of the sound and vision you receive.
The Zoom codes to join each session will be sent the day before by email.
RECORDINGS
Jason’s sessions will be recorded, and a selection will be sent to you, and will be available for a period of time. Participants are not recorded.
COMMUNICATION
A private WhatsApp group will be set up for the duration of the retreat, to facilitate quick and direct communication.
Hope to meet you soon online!
