Evening Seminar in London Friday June 17th
The Essence, Qi and Spirit of Health
We are incredibly fortunate to be hosting the world-class teacher of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, meditation and spiritual practice, Jason Chan. (Alex Jacobs, London Chinese Medicine Meetup Founder)
The principles of Chinese Medicine can be used to treat illness but they can also be used to build a great foundation for health, vitality and spiritual practice.
The health of our body, the state of our mind and the balance of our emotions all depend on each other. Our body, mind and emotions can strongly affect the results we get from spiritual practice. Equally, pursuing spiritual unfoldment can be key to healing our bodies.
The arts of Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Meditation are age-old tested methods of achieving a strong vital body and a harmonious mind.
Jason shows us how we can harness the power of Tai Chi and Chi Kung to create positive transformation in our lives and realise the happiness and fulfillment that is our birthright. Through the refinement of our physical bodies and their energies we develop a greater appreciation of the spiritual essence of who we are.
In this lecture, Jason will talk about what it means to take control of our own health and wellbeing. Having assisted students over many decades in their paths of personal empowerment and spiritual unfoldment, he is able to explain in very clear terms what is needed on the path and what to expect. He will demonstrate and lead the class in a set of Infinite Chi Kung (Qi Gong) specifically designed to create health, wellbeing and vibrancy in our physical bodies. With that vibrancy raised he will then lead the class in a short meditation.
When it comes to using Taoist principles for health, well-being, mental balance and spiritual development, Jason’s way of teaching is unparalleled. His explanations are clear, down to earth and uncomplicated (and above all full of humour!). Jason rarely comes to London to speak so this is a unique and unmissable opportunity.
